LA SPORTIVA
Since I first started climbing in early 2017, I've worn La Sportiva. When I began trad climbing with Brittany Goris in September 2022, she convinced me that the TC Pro was the shoe for crack climbing. She wasn’t wrong. I was instantly hooked—especially on granite, where switching between crack jamming and delicate face moves is key. Back then, I never imagined I would one day become a La Sportiva athlete.
Then came my deep dive into my new crack project, Greenspit in Valle Orco, still waiting on a second female ascent since Babsi Zangerl’s in October 2020. I spent five weeks working the route, and during that time, the Valle Orco climbing festival happened. I found out La Sportiva would have a booth there, and possibly their athlete manager too. So I went for it. I introduced myself to Irene De Col, who welcomed me with genuine warmth and told me how stoked she was that I was working on Greenspit.
A few months later, she reached out and said she wanted to bet on me and the Triple Crown project. That meant the world. I’m incredibly grateful for La Sportiva’s trust and support as I step into this next chapter in climbing. Having partners who share my core values is essential—and La Sportiva does.
COROS
Trying to make a climbing film as a non-professional climber is no joke. I’d never been sponsored before, but I believed in the project Kate and I had around the Triple Crown more than anything. It took months of persistence, hard work, and convincing others to believe in it too.
The first brand that backed us was Coros. They make some of the most innovative connected watches out there—especially when it comes to climbing data—and they continue to blow me away with their constant updates and improvements.
Coros believed that women could take on the Triple Crown, and they wanted to support our training and the vision we had. Huge thanks to Lewis Wu and Matthew Maydick for not only helping us turn this film into a reality, but for sponsoring us as athletes. More importantly, they believed in us as people who are just trying to grow and push a little further every day.
Matthew and Lewis were some of the first to cheer us on after the Triple. Their excitement meant so much.
Now that I know I’m an endurance athlete (still wild to say that), I’m so ready for the next adventure. And of course, I’ll be sharing the data with you all. More to come!
